TRAC Interstar Has Rebranded to FYX
PRESS RELEASE – Florence, KY, October 20, 2019 – FYX Fleet Roadside Assistance, a leading provider of emergency fleet services, has released a new version of its end-to-end roadside assistance management software. The FYX platform delivers real-time service monitoring and streamlined communications to fleet managers and owner-operators across all phases of their repair needs. The software launch follows the rebrand from TRAC Interstar to FYX Fleet Roadside Assistance on October 1.
The new FYX web portal, designed for fleet managers, offers real-time insight into all active road service events on one dashboard including repair status, duration and expected roll time for each event. The enhancements enable streamlined communication, chat functionality and access to service data reports to maximize control of fleet repair processes.
FYX is also releasing new road service mobile applications. FYX Driver provides motor carriers with the ability to report incidents right from their phone, map repair crew location and instantly pay for roadside assistance services. FYX Mechanic offers enhanced capabilities to the FYX provider network to streamline operations and communications between drivers, technicians, and dispatch teams.
“The FYX software puts control of roadside assistance in the hands of fleet managers and owner-operators,” says Jennifer Polli, President and Chief Executive Officer at TRAC Intermodal, the parent company of FYX. “Fleet managers get a complete, real-time view of each event while drivers can use the app on their smartphone to minimize downtime and get back on the road quickly.”
Polli adds that the FYX platform gives users access to a Preferred Partner Network of roadside assistance providers available anywhere in the U.S. and Canada. For more information on the rebranding, visit www.fyxfleet.com/rebrand
